Abbreviated as USB 3.0 AOC, the AOCFiberlink FPUC-3003 is a Pure Fiber USB 3.0 Active Optical Cable designed for long-distance USB data transmission. It features two standard USB Type-A male connectors (USB-A to USB-A) and uses high-flex OM1 optical fiber with a durable TPU jacket as its transmission medium. Supporting SuperSpeed USB 3.0 data rates of up to 5Gbps, this USB 3.0 fiber optic cable provides reliable, high-speed connectivity over distances of up to 50 meters for this model, with custom lengths available up to 100 meters (330 ft). Unlike conventional copper-based extension cables, it transmits USB data, communication protocols, and handshake signals entirely over optical fiber, offering practically zero EMI/RFI interference.This USB3 Active Optical Cable has two standard USB3 type-A male connectors, utilizing high flex OM1 pure fiber optical cable with TPU jacket as the transmission media, featuring maximum 5Gbps data rate, >10millions drag chain test, and transmission distance up to 100m (330ft) .
L'FPUC-3003 è stato progettato specificamente per estendere la trasmissione del segnale USB 3.0 privo di EMI per le applicazioni in cui è necessario l'isolamento galvanico, come i dispositivi medici, i sistemi di visione industriale, le telecamere web e altro ancora. Se si desidera che il cavo sia retrocompatibile con USB2.0/1.1, è possibile utilizzare un cavo di collegamento USB 3.0. Dispositivi integrati SuperTT(chiamato anche Dongle USB) è necessario.
Ricordiamo che, essendo realizzato in pura fibra ottica, FPUC-3001 non fornisce alimentazione dall'host al dispositivo. In altre parole, questo cavo ottico attivo USB3 in pura fibra funziona solo con dispositivi USB autoalimentati.
